JAM SESSION AT THE LELLEBEL

--- Every first Sunday of the month from 7 p.m. ---

EVERYBODY WHO WANTS TO JOIN IN THE JAM, SING ALONG OR JUST ENJOYS THE NICE ATMOSPHERE OF LIVE MUSIC AT THE LELLEBEL IS MORE THAN WELCOME!

Since November 2005 a true jam session takes place every first Sunday of the month at café Lellebel. It has been a success ever since. A group of relatively steady jammusicians, elaborated with incidental guest musicians, has filled many nights with musical pleasure for young and old, male or female, gay or straight and everything in between.

YOU CAN JOIN IN TOO!

Do you play an instrument? Do you like to sing? Everything is possible at the Lellebel jamsession. Coming in unannounced with your instrument is always fine, but you can communicate at forehand with our relatively steady group of jammers, if you want to play a certain number and you want to be sure our group is familiar with the song and guide you through it you can contact us via e-mail. Of course you can play a solo number too.

DO I HAVE TO BE A PRO?

No, you don’t have to be a pro or a miracle child to play along. Happiness and inspiration is more than enough! Can you only play one note on a your trumpet, guitar, flute or bongo? Fine! Never sang in public, but you would really like to try? At the jam session it’s your spot!

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC IS PLAYED?

Everything! From pop to jazz, funk to rock, disco to ballad and from experimental to tearjerker. In short: from Madonna to Dave Brubeck, Stevie Wonder to Nirvana, Donna Summer to Extreme and from Pink Floyd to Andre Hazes. The Lellebel jam session doesn’t exclude anything

JAM SESSION, KARAOKE, WORKSHOP AND OPEN PODIUM ALL IN ONE!

The Lellebel jam session is more than a jam session on its own. Sometimes there’s authentic jamming, sometimes someone wants to sing a song accompanied by the jammers like karaoke, sometimes someone wants to try a musical experiment or try to play an instrument or try to sing (workshop). Also anybody can perform a whole new song (open podium). Everything goes at Lellebel jam session.
